About the album
Send Me Spiral is the debut album from ema sid: ten tracks of dark, cinematic alt-pop.
It lives in duality: power and surrender, escape and longing. Pop hooks and R&B warmth meet house rhythms and electronic textures, giving vulnerability a touch of power.
the theme
lost in the static
The idea running through Send Me Spiral.
The static is the noise: the opinions, the comments, the constant hum of everyone else’s idea of who you should be.
But then something shifted. She started picking up the pieces and started to hear her own voice. For the first time she wanted to be herself, in her own way.
The static is her past. The music is her way out of it. And Send Me Spiral is just the start.
